History & significance
An unfinished and largely ruined temple at Jatkara near Khajuraho, first raised in the eighth century and rebuilt in the later eleventh. At about 34.6 m long its plinth exceeds the Kandariya Mahadeva, making it the largest temple footprint recorded at the site.
