A Hoysala-period Shiva temple raised around 1220 under Narasimha II, notable for an unusually complex plan in which a sixteen-pointed star-shaped hall is joined to a five-storeyed vimana. Its outer walls carry roughly 120 relief panels drawing on Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta and Vedic subject matter.
