A sixteenth-century Vishnu temple raised by a local Vijayanagara-era chief at Kanakagiri, the ancient Swarnagiri, with wide pillared halls, massive yali columns and three tiered gopuras. It is a protected monument under the state division of the Archaeological Survey of India.
