History & significance
A slender East Javanese candi of about 1248 built as the mortuary shrine of the Singhasari king Anusapati, whose image is thought to have stood in its chamber as Shiva; its base carries three Javanese masks and reliefs of the Garuda story, and it was restored in the 1990s.
