A soapstone three-shrine temple of 1250 built under Hoysala king Vira Someshwara, with side sanctums for Venugopala and Lakshmi Narasimha. Its four-storey vesara tower and plinth friezes of the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavata Purana mark the late Hoysala manner.
