A Jain complex of shrines to Adinatha, Shantinatha and Neminatha built in two phases under the Western Gangas and renovated by the Hoysalas; scholars date it between the eighth and tenth centuries. The village takes its name from the free-standing Brahmadeva pillar before the shrines.
