An eleventh-century Angkorian foundation of Suryavarman I crowning a 133-metre hill in Takeo province, dedicated to Shiva and in part to Vishnu, and reached by a stair of roughly 610 steps. Six brick shrines make up the complex, the central one about 60 by 50 metres within two galleries, with sandstone construction extending some 400 metres across the summit. It was repaired in 1917 under French Indochina, wrecked during the fighting of the 1970s and rebuilt in 1979, and is now visited by Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims alike.
