History & significance A Potong Pasir temple to Shiva and Durga first completed in 1906. Persistent water leakage and cramped, poorly ventilated quarters led to its demolition in 2014, and a S$2.7 million rebuild reopened in 2016 with a consecration on 4 December that year.
