History & significance

Founded in 1962 by Kunjukrishnan and moved to Marsiling in 1982, this temple joins Shiva as presiding deity with Krishna and more than twenty other murtis across a 25,000 sq ft complex. Ground was broken on the present building in 1987 and it was consecrated on 1 September 1996; its early congregation was drawn largely from taxi drivers.
