History & significance
A Theravada monastery at the old capital of Inwa, dedicated to Shin Dhammabhinanda and first built in 1593, later endowed during King Hsinbyushin's reign by the town officer of Magwe. Destroyed by fire in 1821, it was rebuilt in 1992.
