The oldest surviving temple at Khajuraho, an open-air yogini shrine of about 885 CE with sixty-four small cells around a larger one. Uniquely rectangular among yogini temples, it attests to tantric goddess worship in the Chandela capital and forms part of the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho group.
