A small medieval Chola temple to Vishnu at Srinivasanallur on the Kaveri, counted by the historian Harle among the four earliest surviving temples of the Chola empire. It is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India and carries an inscription recording a tax-free garden endowed for a perpetual lamp.
