History & significance

A ruined goddess temple in Kagpur village on State Highway 19, some 33 km from Vidisha, raised in the Paramara period between the 10th and 11th centuries. Its flat-roofed mandapa stands on twelve pillars, and the image of Mangala Devi it houses was installed in 1306.
