A Shakta temple on Poomal Ravuthan Kovil Street in the East Gate quarter of Thanjavur, whose goddess Nisumbasuthani is also called Vada Badrakali. The Thiruvalangadu copper plates record its establishment in the Chola period, and it is among the temples of the Thanjavur Palace Devasthanam.
