A Chola-period Vishnu temple at Vasanthapura on the southern edge of Bengaluru, associated with two surviving sacred springs, Devatirtha and Vasantatirtha; the others were filled in as the city grew.
The sage Mandavya is said to have found a self-manifested image of Vallabharaya here and raised the shrine, at the springs where the god bathed after his marriage to Lakshmi.
